Song's of those days had the music being played in background and the lead voice in foreground. Nowadays, its the reverse, with all sorts of synthetic beats, they hide the singer's mistakes too. This kind of singing with the lead voice in the foreground is really difficult and that is why Classical vocal is so soothing to us. Truly a masterpiece !!!
