Again i am also a big fan of Rafi but Manna dey was a better singer technically and that is the only point i am trying to make that is why he was called to sing all the classical competition songs in basant bahar and Baiju bawra. Yes Rafi is the best playback singer but there is not a single song which he sang could not have been sung by Dey but that is not true otherwise.

Listening can be a good experience, no doubt. But, anyone amongst us, who plays harmonium or any musical tool, must try practically to sing it therewith. It's really a chanting song which impresses deeply. I wish if Manna Day G were in front of me and I had touched his feet. But, alas! I cant due to being millions miles apart.
