bcsuza on Sunday, January 07, 2007 I thought it was pretty when all the kids looked at her singing and smiled, it was like a warmth came, I know weird...
gorgeous234 on Friday, February 16, 2007 I just love this song.so nice and soo sweet...makes me day dream about my special someone lol..thanks for uploading..xoxo
Daniel Schut on Saturday, March 10, 2007 asha is unsurpassable, I don't get what the band (music AND
backgroundsinger) is doing though: it completely doesnt fit with Asha's
beautiful voice.
PANDITSOM on Thursday, March 22, 2007 Its a Trend Setting Video and has Trend Setting MUSIC arranged to it. wow! Neber heard such music ever before. Beautiful Voice...
shankar prasad on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 realy touching video!
marchmarch2007 on Thursday, April 12, 2007 Does anyone remember hearing the original version playing in the background in Monsoon Wedding. It's in a scene where two lovers are making out in a jeep and then the police arrives. Very well chosen.
bbnanno on Thursday, April 26, 2007 Love Asha, but in this case Farida Khanum is just incomparable. Thanks for
the reminder of Habib Wali's original and the fact you can see it on
youtube.
shaiyanne17 on Thursday, April 26, 2007 i freakin LOVE this song. i mean.when i heard this song. it kinda
made me cry a lil. it reminds me of someone i loved soooooooo much. and
they died.
lastchild01 on Tuesday, May 08, 2007 Aaj jaane ki zid na karo
Tonight, don't insist on leaving
Yunhi pehlu mein bethey raho
Sit here close to me
Haaye mar jaayein ge
I will die
Hum to lutt jaayein ge
I will be lost
Aisi baatein kiya na karo
Don't say such things
Aaj jaane ki zid na karo
Tonight, don't insist on leaving
lastchild01 on Tuesday, May 08, 2007 Tumhi socho zara
Just ponder for a second
kyu'n na rokein tumhey
Why shouldn't I stop you?
jaan jaati hai jab uth ke jaatey ho tum
When my life leaves every time you go
tum ko apni qasam jaan-e-jaa'n
I swear to you, my love
baat itni meri maan lo
Listen to my one request
Aaj jaane ki zid na karo
Tonight, don't insist on leaving
lastchild01 on Tuesday, May 08, 2007 Waqt ki qaed mein zindagi hai magar
Life is trapped in time's prison but
chand gharriya'n yahi hain jo aazaad hain
These are the few moments that are free
inko khho kar kaheen jaan-e-jaa\'n
By losing them, my love
umr bhar na tarastey raho
Don't start a life of regret
Aaj jaane ki zid na karo
Tonight, don't insist on leaving
lastchild01 on Tuesday, May 08, 2007 Kitna masoom aur rangeen hai yeh sama
How innocent and colorful is the weather
husn aur ishq ki aaj me\'raj hai
It is the reign of beauty and love
kal ki kis ko khabar jaan-e-jaa\'n
Who knows what tomorrow will bring
rok lo aaj ki raat ko
Let's stop this night right here
Aaj jaane ki zid na karo
Tonight, don't insist on leaving

Om V on Friday, July 13, 2007 This is the best beautiful ghazal from Great Asha Ji !!!
FerozLakhani on Saturday, August 04, 2007 sure this is a copy of a classic ghazal, that doesn't mean you can't appreciate Asha Bhosle's version, even if it is a copy, it is still very well composed and sung...
barthwal0 on Saturday, August 04, 2007 sung beautifully by asha ji emotionfully video also is very emotional..
lilytas1 on Saturday, November 03, 2007 love this, totally magnificently sang.
sappho01 on Thursday, November 08, 2007 I have heard Farida Khanum sing this live. She is phenomenal.
mariawifey on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 this sound is different and beautiful
greeaat on Wednesday, December 05, 2007 but in my opinion, its better and nicer than Farida.
Natasha Singh on Sunday, December 09, 2007 asha bhosle really rocks even at this age.and i think she sings a billion
times better than farida khanum
Avenger_007 on Monday, December 17, 2007 well i think u r absolutely wrong even Lata n Asha praise her.
qureshi909 on Monday, December 24, 2007 farida sung it best, no one can compete ghazal queen
qureshi909 on Monday, December 24, 2007 n dont take me wrong, i m a big fan of asha jee, but ghazal is speciality of farida n she sung this ghazal in her own unique style, which is realy amazing
mrtumnusinthecupboar on Sunday, February 10, 2008 who's the guy who plays guitar? his hair reminds me of Ustad Zakir hussain :-p
farhad2979 on Friday, February 15, 2008 Asha should have just left this one alone! Disappointing, to say the least. She exposes her limitations. Even though she is recognized for "expression" in her voice, her rendition sounds totally flat compared to the legendary Farida Khanum. Asha is great but she should realize that some classics are even beyond her reach! This is similar to Lata trying Noor Jahan's "hum bhool gayay har baat". That was tragically disappointing as well. Better than this though.
Rizwan paks on Friday, February 15, 2008 I just love this video, especially the girl in a car is so preety...
subhash chanda on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 great video ...
cyver every on Sunday, March 09, 2008 Asha Bhonsle sounds so different
aforasha on Monday, March 17, 2008 what a gazal and asha ji you have great voice.
AsianChic19 on Friday, March 21, 2008 beautiful lyrics
tanyasarfaraz on Monday, March 24, 2008 Asha is a great singer no doubt about that but this ghazal is a classic in its own right and only ghazal singers such as Farida Khanum can carry it well...some things are better when original!
Hanihani31 on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 some things r better when its original! seriously!!
MizAmaziing on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 magical song asha ji has a wonderful voice
thinkingsistah on Saturday, March 29, 2008 i like asha's version. the bollywood beats in the back just spoil it though.
However Farida Khanum sang it amazingly, and i dont think asha came even close.
<3 Malika-e-Ghazal <3
stormvixen on Tuesday, April 01, 2008 haey mar jaeingay, hum toh lutt jaeingay
aisee batein kiya na karo - aaj jaanay ki zidd na karo. Wow : )
Bhishma2 on Wednesday, April 02, 2008 Hard as Asha tries, her attempt barely comes close to the Farida's emotional melody. Bollywood beats just make it worse.
farahsbestfriend on Saturday, April 05, 2008 i dediacate dis song to my luv farah rite now plz listen jaan plz
Angad Sachdeva on Friday, April 11, 2008 anyone calling the beats in the background as "bollywood beats" knows
nothing about how different this music is. in fact, the beats in the
background are what makes this song so unique. of course, as far as the
question of who sang it better goes, i have no problem if people like the
farida khanum version better. but please, this is not "bollywood" or
"indian pop" in any way.
jav4444 on Monday, April 14, 2008 I disagree with you all! If you really wanna see the true version, try
'HABIB WALI MOHAMMAD' He has a voice of a poet, only the poets could never
sing! what a voice! Try it!
sthonangi on Thursday, May 01, 2008 No disrespect to Asha ji, she is very sweet but i feel serene when i hear
Farida Khanum saheba for this song. She makes me fall in love again with
life, with love. She is sooo pleasing to convince any soul in the song.
Love that version although this is also good.
Prakriti Basnet on Saturday, May 03, 2008 i love this song in asha's version
drsalmans on Tuesday, May 06, 2008 well said sthonangi.. totally agree.. farida khanum's truly upliftimg!!!
Hellraiser420840 on Monday, May 12, 2008 The beats/music is much better.
Sorry guys...but IMHO this is better then farida khanus version. :)
hasnainkazmi526 on Friday, May 16, 2008 Nice but Farida Khanam's Marvellous matchless
BOB IYER on Friday, June 13, 2008 Asha has sung this ghazal well but the backing group sticks like a sore
thumb! Why do they have to try to embelish a ghazal which is already
beautiful!They are only ruining it!
eddroxx on Tuesday, August 05, 2008 very sorry guys.she has really buchred this Ghazal. there is no doubt in her greatness as a singer but this is some thing beyond her reach.
Danish Malik on Monday, August 18, 2008 nahin i think she also sang it really gud!compliments from pak!
Deepaknirrh on Saturday, August 23, 2008 I agree Asha maam Rocks and the sond is sang in a different form. The backdrop is touchy and brings about the emotions in the song.
