nickysohi13 on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 Aaj jaane ki zid na karo (3)
Yunhi pehloo mein baithe raho (2)
Aaj jaane ki zid na karo
Haay mar jaayenge, hum to lut jaayenge
Aisi baatein kiya na karo
Tum hi socho zara, kyun na roke tumhe
Jaan jaati hai jab uth ke jaate ho tum (2)
Tumko apni qasam jaan-e-jaan
Baat itni meri maan lo
Waqt ki qaid mein zindagi hai magar
Chand ghadiyan yehi hain jo aazad hain
Inko khokar mere jaan-e-jaan
Umr bhar na taraste raho
mirzaidali on Monday, February 15, 2010 @chinmayjoy Asha Bhosle is not a goddess or angel. She is just a human being like us. She is an artiest. Art is not common. If she is steeling someone's art just to make money is not good. And when it comes to talking wrong about her. Let me tell you I live in a democratic country (India). I cant speak anything against anyone.. And yes there r parties who want to divide India by taking advantage of a word called "marathi manus". And u r one of those.
ranasaad08 on Sunday, February 21, 2010 hat up 4 u kamal song n kamal vedio
fantabulous
basitpaajee on Saturday, March 13, 2010 Just love the music guys, and please these are our artists, keep them away from all the geographical boundaries.
Whoever made or invented the raags its just like trying to find the middle of the earth, if we can only hear who sings these raags perfectly, all the problems will end. Sometime we should just listen to the music, only the music, which is the only common thing in these two great countries. LONG LIVE OUR MUSIC.
studer3500 on Sunday, March 14, 2010 this excellent gazaal is let down by poor music, i.e. the musical
instrumenitarts chosen do not suit this art form. Habib's version includes
the correct instruments namely Sitar, Sarangi and tabla. Many singers today
spoil a good gazaal by packaging them in European based musical instrument
that are not designed for sub continent poetry based songs.
mustafasultan on Saturday, April 03, 2010 No doubt Asha is a beautiful singer, but this is about doing justice to a ghazal. A ghazal has a special and unique presence in urdu poetry. For those who love ghazals know that it's mood is best supported by sitar and tabla. In my personal opinion ,this is what has destroyed the essence of this beautiful piece of art!
shaurya87 on Sunday, April 04, 2010 Fab singing... The instruments are going totally off!
manaf67 on Saturday, April 10, 2010 @mustafasultan
you are right i think also that she has spoiled the whole touch and the originality of the song
Farida Khanum did best but this lady has spoiled the beauty and i think why is it necessary to sing it by others
Farida sung this song very beautiful and it touches the heart and soul
I also think that the video totally not suits the song and the western touch of the music has further spoiled the song
Why is she (A. Bhosle) doing this, she must sing her own songs
manaf67 on Saturday, April 10, 2010 @Jz473 i do not agree with you my friend Don`t you think that she has
spoiled the originality of the song . Farida Khanum sung it very well and
here we also watch that the video is out of the context of the song
viraj joshi on Saturday, April 10, 2010 @Jz473 well said bro in gadho kon samzaye ki sangeet ye sab nahi janta
Jz473 on Sunday, April 11, 2010 @bagelboyindia Yes, you are right, I agree with you, the originality is missing, Farida Khanum is one great singer... and that version is different from this one, but this is beautiful too. At times, difference gives more colour to life? Don't you agree? You die when same things happen when you hear same things everyday. :)
h2h3h on Monday, April 26, 2010 surprising noone mentioned iqbal bano here
wamsluv on Wednesday, May 05, 2010 Asha sang it well ... but one of the instruments is really annoying
Waqar Arshad on Monday, May 10, 2010 @TheNetRoamer i totaly agree, we shouldn't be comparing them instead
appreciate both
Waqar Arshad on Monday, May 10, 2010 Farida khanum was 2nd person to sing this song, it was first sung by a
singer name Habib or something here is link watch?v=k7Yoosbsvo8 He is the
orignal singer whom no one know :( But nvm All sang it very well and they
did good job i like Asha ji's version too.
TheNetRoamer on Monday, May 10, 2010 @intensity1988 Habib Wali Muhammad is a great singer who has sung some of
the best film songs and more than that many ghazals of Mirza Ghalib and
Bahudur Shah Zafar (last Mogul emperor) and other poets. Comparisons
between singers for the sake of fight are no good and should stop
henceforth :) Love all.
Waqar Arshad on Monday, May 10, 2010 @TheNetRoamer YEah i agree dude we shouldn't be comparing and we shoud not
fight either
TheNetRoamer on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 @intensity1988 fight spoils the fun you know. we come here to enjoy music
and not to start war of words over nothing. Beauty lies in the eye of the
beholder. Lay day kay apnay pass faqat ek nazar to hay, (All that i have is
my own way of seeing things) kion dekhain zindagi ko kisi kisi ki nazar say
hum (so why should i see life (it includes music of course) from another
person's eyes?
Waqar Arshad on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 @intensity1988 Very nice yaar :D

mmrm2010 on Sunday, May 23, 2010 My expectation was that Ashaji would surpass the original singer, but I am
highly disappointed, the music was awful!
shab z on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 very well sung by great aasha ...
ktpunjab on Saturday, July 03, 2010 @gurdeep60 yes, this is only sick mind, nothing else.
ktpunjab on Saturday, July 03, 2010 @asherfawad as far as I remember, that was Habib Wali Muhammad. I will try to find that on youtube and post it for you
musharafcharsee on Saturday, July 10, 2010 @sobia1888 -- chori kaa hai jee
hamidm81 on Sunday, July 11, 2010 The original was sung by Farida Khanum. Asha ji sang it well as well. She
added some ornamentation that we call "harkats" in there on her own which
sound ver nice. Sice this is a classical piece composed in raag Aiman
Kalyan the singer has a vast canvas to explore and add to the original
melody.
TheRavi1010 on Thursday, July 15, 2010 @musharafcharsee
musharaf sir comment achha par chori k liye b to creative dimak hona chahiye na.
vng61 on Sunday, July 18, 2010 Ashaji though great singer herself, appears to have been truly exposed while singing this one.She cunningly tried to conceal her limitations alas, all in vain!! vng 61.
divyaduvey on Thursday, July 22, 2010 this is the one of the my fvt song.koi samjhe le kehne ki jarurat hi kya...???????????
digitall2k2 on Wednesday, August 04, 2010 @mfaridjp - I concur absolutely! Its not about the nationality and silly quabbles - but its sad to see such a soulful ghazal killed by unnecessary background music. This is a song which requires nothing more than vocals to render the nuances - and Ashaji had all of that in her disposal...
vdoslave87 on Thursday, August 19, 2010 @penta15786
I enjoy quite a few of her uploads but I usually dont bother reading comments on youtube unless they offer some trivia.. so cant really comment on that..
anyway cheers and peace out..
Umair Javaid on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 Well its good Bt farida khanum's one is the better one
Imtiaz U. Faruqui on Friday, September 10, 2010 I WOULD NOT BLAME AYESHA JEE, SOME TIME A SINGER LIKES A CERTAIN SONG AND
BEFORE HE OR SHE HAS COMPLETLY UNDERSTOOD THE MOOD AND TUNE OF THE SONG ,
SING IT FOR SOME REASONS . IT MAY NOT GIVE THAT SAME IMPACT LIKE THE
ORIGINAL. MY FRIEND SOHAIL RANA IS THE COMPOSER OF THIS BEAUTIFUL GHAZAL
AND MY FRIEND HABIB WALI MOHD SANG IT , BOTH OF THESE GREATS DOES NOT
BELONG TO MUSIC FAMILIES OR GHARANAS.
viruscauser on Saturday, September 25, 2010 This is simply beautiful. . . . Beauty has no color, cast, creed,
religion or nationality and to color beauty with any of those is simply
criminal.
aveekthegiant on Sunday, October 10, 2010 i just love my paki brothrs fr only the love fr music nd rage in cricket ...love frm india ..

hindi or urdu
Zahid018 on Friday, October 29, 2010 Music has no boundary, it's universal and meant for entertaining people of all races. Asha's rendering of "aaj jane ki zid na karo" is excellent and quite entertaining. It has added some extra charm to Farida Khanum's original melody. I have some sweet as well as sad memories with this ghazal and I heard this song rendered by a number of celebrated artists. Kudus to Asha Bhosle.
