my goodness it's so beautiful. .and that's coming out from a 15 year old teenager :D my father used to listen to this song and he still does and when i think about all the years i have wasted saying these old movies are boring. . well, i can say finally i take back every word ^^ this is the type of music our teenagers should be educated to listen too :) cause we should never forget our old actors ^.^

Pakeeza is a never repeatable movie. It is a master peice as whole. Everything, everytthig in Pakeeza is perfect and at peak of the purpose they are made or chosen for. Even a single tiny thing there is for a purpose and has a role in implying something. I LOVE PAKEEZA to watch it over and over again.

lata said once in an interview that back in those days, composers like Naushad used to think about just one song for a very long time, sometimes even 15 days ...which is why those songs have that classic evergreen appeal to them. the songs of today are cheap and trashy which get recycled every other week

Sajeda Saeed on Friday, December 17, 2010

I cannot understand those dislikes, I think this crop of listeners are yet to mature, may be they are kumar sanu lovers, like the chick in nest who understands nest as whole world, this is a classic from indian cinema , I have watched this movie and i feel that this one of the best movies ever made by Bollywood , true reperesentation of sub continent culture , no western influence at all , great work done by bollywood of yore

Nicely done, but this is a sad song. she sings with great longing about
some guy she saw on a train that she fell in love with.

classical bollywood is the best music on the earth :) no where else is
there more heart moving music!

thephilosopherkartik on Tuesday, January 25, 2011
@BunnyBobBesaRamirez The song, the film, the style of music and dance are
all from India. The movie's based in the north Indian state of Uttar
Pradesh. The dancing style featured here is called 'Kathak', a classical
Indian dance form prevalent in several northern Indian states; it conveys
the lyrics of the song or play through meaningful gestures while also
gracefully blending in with the music. If you need any more information,
send me a PM. I hope this helped! :-)
