horsez78 on Monday, January 31, 2011 I wish i could understand what she is saying. It seems whatever she is saying, she speaks from the heart. Its very pretty .
jastvo on Monday, January 31, 2011 I already have coment this song, and pres button ''I like'' but this is like divine,so you must make a prise with a comment.. Although in dayly life I do not listen music, but this is more like mantra that will give you touch of a goddess, and all day will be JUST FINE
jastvo on Monday, January 31, 2011 @MultiPappu
Maybe they are,but could't understand that this song is't.. 930 people who like this song know, that this is more then just music. This is pure emotion that make you belive how it's a devine touch. You listen, and feel that it's made to tell how you're feel. This is beauty that can't be define, and why we speak, but of powerlessness to hold it within. O' chalte, chalte chalte ..

smarana9090 on Friday, February 04, 2011 Please someone can translate this lyric into english ? Please. I am falling in love with this song. Thank you!
Lahoreumar on Thursday, February 10, 2011 The magical ambiance of this song is very well beyond the imagination. The
resplendent set, the cadenced motion of the dancing girls coupled with the
sprinkling fountain in the backgrond adds to this bewitching effect. "Ye
chiragh bujh rahe hain meray sath jaltey jaltey .." The whistling of
the far fetched train is sensitising.
Lahoreumar on Thursday, February 10, 2011 This movie, this song is a living testatment to great days of cinema, when movies were made with painstaking exercise of retakes, careful camera movement, closeup exposures and meticulously perfect details were taken care of while directing such spectacular piece of song and dance. Meaningful poetry "ye chiragh bujh rahe hain meray sath jalte jalte." The cadenced motion and steps of the dancing girls matching the rythm of music. Formidable majesty of a Nawab effused with resplendent/ setting.
changgaizi on Saturday, February 12, 2011 There is a BIG difference between the people who like this song and the ones who like "SHIELA KI JAWANI".

Lim Chi on Sunday, February 20, 2011 After 1990s, China almost fully stop imported Indian Bollywood Movies, as
most masterpieces of Bollywood were produced between 1970s to 1980s. At
that time, every year, more than 15 Bollywood movies were introduced into
China and broadcast everywhere in public cinemas. Latin(Mexican) and Indian
Movies led foreign film fashion in China dated back then.
ashiquebd on Monday, February 21, 2011 One of the most beautiful musical creation ever created by humans. Simple words, simple music, simple dance, but outstanding in all levels!!
ultispar on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 This song's music was composed by Great Ghulam Mohammed. But many people still thinks that the composer is Noushad.
Ghulam Mohammed was no more When the film was released in 1972. He composed 12 songs for this movie and the director used his 6 songs for this film.
Later the other songs used for another album. !!!
shrutia1 on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 Omg!!! this song is amazing and the lyrics are so simple and yet says so much. This film had the best direction , music, dance and not forgetting the outstanding performance by the legend Meena Kumari and Raj Kumar. I dont know way it didn't go for a an oscar nomination : /
erider1 on Saturday, February 26, 2011 it is sad to watch this knowing that Meena Kumari was very very sick when this song was shot. As I understand it, she had problems with her heart. I suspect this is why her movements are so delicate and gentle. In fact it was shortly after this that Meena Kumari passed away. This is a beautiful song and beautifully shot. All songs is Pakeeza are worthy of being savored repeatedly. Thank you for sharing this.
catspect on Saturday, February 26, 2011 It really is a beautiful song ! I love the two women dancing in the background, very sutle and graceful and swan-like movements.

No she died from liver cirrhosis - she was a heavy drinker...
had79gul on Thursday, March 31, 2011 Very beautiful.
Meena Kumari died from liver cirrhosis and not a heart condition. However, I do think that she was a great actress.
It was MADHUBALA who died of a heart defect in 1969. She had a ventricular septal defect which affected her heart and lungs. However, without treatment, she lived until she was 36 - which is very surprising as patients with this condition rarely survived into their early twenties. Look her up on Wikipedia.
had79gul on Thursday, March 31, 2011 @erider1 she died of liver cirrhosis. It was Madhubala who died from a congenital heart defect. However I love this song and it is poignant.
